Abbiamo già parlato del ritorno degli Aqua sulle scene musicali (qui), finalmente possiamo vedere il video del loro nuovo pezzo, “Back To The 80s”. Il video rimane decisamente sotto le aspettative rispetto ai video in stile cartoon a cui la band ci ha abituati e il tema degli anni ottanta  poteva essere sfruttato decisamente meglio. Invece gli Aqua si limitano a rappresentare una band in stile anni ottanta aiutati da effetti video tipici di quel periodo.

Gli Aqua sono un gruppo pop danese che avevano raggiunto un certo successo nella seconda metà degli anni ’90, in particolare con la canzone “Barbie Girl”. Si erano poi sciolti anche a causa di problemi di cuore: la cantante, Lene, era prima fidanzata con la voce maschile Renè ed in seguito si era messa con il tastierista Soren. La convivenza tra gli elementi della band era diventata insostenibile.


Lena aveva poi intrapreso una carriera da solista sfornando alcuni singoli di successo. Adesso il gruppo si è riunito ed è pronto per uscire sulle scene musicali con una nuovo album. Si tratta di un greatest hits che includerà alcune nuove canzoni:My Mamma Said…, Live Fast – Die Young e Back To The 80s che sarà anche il primo sngolo. L’uscita dell’album è attesa per la metà di giugno.
